Flamenco Rosé 2023

A blend of Grenache and Monastrell grown on our property. We hand harvest both varieties together, at optimal flavour before the fruit is destemmed and crushed. The juice is left in contact with skins for two days before pressing off softly using our basket press. The juice is settled, racked and then inoculated for fermentation. Great care is taken to stop the fermentation with just a hint of sugar to round out the palate. The wine is bottled early to preserve the fruit and floral characters.

TASTING NOTES:

Colour: Bright fuchsia

Aromas: Lifted nose with pink musk sticks, thyme, hints of vanilla custard and strawberries.

Palate: Great presence on the palate. Round and generous with fresh raspberry, cranberries and strawberries. Finishes with a sprinkling of white pepper spice. Great length.
