El Toro Tempranillo 2023

$28.00

Estate grown fruit is handpicked and wild fermented in stainless steel. A combination of new and used French oak barriques and puncheons are used for maturation. Maturation occurs for 12 months before blending and bottling. Fresh, youthful characters that are similar to a crianza style in Rioja.

TASTING NOTES:

Colour: Plum red

Aromas: Beautiful lift. Purple jelly beans and violets. Confectionary raspberries, hints of cassis, dark chocolate, liquorice and star anise.

Palate: Soft, fine palate. Nice weight with full bodied fruit but in soft and supporting tannins. Lovely length and weight that sits between medium to full bodied. Rich flavours of earthy violet, plum, pomegranate and blood orange.
